Edmonton Pride Parade and Pride in the Park!
This is on June 8th. You can find all the events and activities online at www.edmontonpride.ca

Rotary Parade!!!
Last year the Spruce Grove GSA Society made history and we were the first LGBTQ group to march in the Stony Plain Rotary Parade! It’s time to make it two year’s in a row! This year we would like to have a float, a truck, and (ahem) louder music. I’m sure if we all work together we can pull together and make this AMAZING!!!

Don’t forget!
Outloud  outloudstalbert.ca/ in St Albert happens every other Tuesday evening from 7-9pm. They are an AMAZING group and a great alternative to our group. They are absolutely a Safe Space to go to meet other LGBTQ youth and Allies!

New Topics:
Safety in schools.
Safety to and from schools.
Safety on the Internet and devices.

We have a special guest joining us. Constable Gord Marshall is one of our Parkland School Division’s Resource Officer’s. Quite often you will find him hanging out with our youth at their school GSA and QSAs. He has agreed to come and hang out with us for a bit on April 12th! (I’m kind of hoping he will decorate eggs as well!)
Get your questions ready!!

Some of the ways you can fabulous:
Donate food to our youth GSA meetings or grocery store gift cards, craft items, monetary donations, click on the donate button on our website, spend time with us at different events (bottle drives (collect bottles and donate the money to the GSA account online), GSA meetings, parades, resource fairs, etc)

Youth: I have a list of the hours you have helped out at our events and with the GSA, if you are interested in knowing your totals for scholarship application or resume purposes I have those totals available.
